Cast iron coffin sources

I had a close encounter with a Fisk cast iron mummy type coffin, and
contents, in 1975 when a fisherman found one floating down the Mississippi
near Bellevue, Iowa. The casket was taken to a funeral home in Bellevue and
a few days later I was one of three who watched a mortician open it and do
a quick inspection of the remains. Considering its age (pre-1900), the
body was in remarkably good condition.
The casket was about 5 feet long, very ornate, and had a glass face plate.
A series of bolts held the casket halves together and it probably would
have floated to the Gulf of Mexico had someone not seen it. I have some
black and white photos and other information about the casket somewhere if
you want to contact me off-list.
